Dr. Markel is the founder and director of Let It Go Psychological Services. She specializes in supporting the wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families. For over 15 years Dr. Markel has been working with children and adolescents who experience a variety of psychological concerns including ADHD, anger management, anxiety, defiance, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, self-esteem, stress, social-emotional challenges, tics, and trauma, among others. Dr. Markel is passionate about supporting healthy family dynamics, and in the context of family therapy she works with family members of all ages. She provides empirically supported treatments including cognitive behavioural therapy, family systems therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy in both English and Spanish.
Background
Dr. Markel was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she first obtained her Psychology credentials at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She has been living in Canada since 2004, where she re-trained and obtained her Masters and Ph.D. in School and Clinical Child Psychology at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) of the University of Toronto. She has held positions at Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK), Surrey Place Centre, the Toronto District School Board, and the OISE Counselling and Psychoeducational Clinic.

Dr. Musabelliu specializes in supporting the wellbeing of children and adolescents, and providing parenting consultation. For over a decade, Dr. Musabelliu has been working with children and adolescents who experience a variety of school and emotional concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management, defiance, obsessive-compulsive disorder, self-esteem, stress, and trauma. She brings to Let It Go a wealth of experience as she has and continues to actively work in school settings in the GTA helping families navigate the educational system. Dr. Musabelliu supports families when making decisions regarding children's and adolescents' socio-emotional needs, as well as school programming and placement. Dr. Musabelliu provides empirically supported treatments including cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing in both English and Albanian.
Background
Dr. Musabelliu was born in Albania, where she first completed a bachelor and master program in Psychology at the University of Tirana. After she and her family moved to Canada, she obtained her Ph.D. in School and Clinical Child Psychology at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) of the University of Toronto. Dr. Musabelliu has held positions at OISE Counselling and Psychoeducational Clinic, Surrey Place Centre, the Toronto Catholic District School Board, and various private practices in Toronto.

Ana Bahamonde, Psy. D.
Ana Bahamonde, Psy. D.
Ms. Ana Bahamonde is an associate clinician who has several years of clinical experience working internationally in clinical and educational settings. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. She provides individual and group therapy related to anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, emotion regulation, substance use, grief, and psychosis. She also supports families in the therapeutic process of their children and adolescents. Additionally, Ms. Bahamonde provides specialized academic interventions, including reading, spelling, writing, and study skills as well as managing organizational/executive functioning challenges at school and Career Counselling services.
Ms. Bahamonde’s integrative psychotherapy approach uses empirically supported treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), brief solution focused, sand tray therapy, play therapy, and art interventions to address clients’ specific needs. She provides services in both English and Spanish.
Background
Ms. Ana Bahamonde holds a Bachelor of Education, a Master of Arts degree in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) of the University of Toronto, and a Master in School Counseling from Lehman College in New York. She obtained her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University, and completed her residency at the Psychiatric Unit of Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital in New York. Ms. Bahamonde also has held positions as a School Counsellor at the Toronto French School and as a Mental Health and Addictions Therapist at the Homewood Health Center in Guelph. She holds a New York State Psychology license and is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario.

The administrative team is your first point of contact at Let It Go Psychological Services, and will warmly greet you over the phone and then in person when you visit us. We are proud to offer intake services in English and Spanish as our administrative team is fully bilingual.

Yalith brings Let It Go Psychological Services a wealth of customer service and business experience. She completed her Bachelor's in International Business at the University of Tecnologico de Monterrey. Her immediate warmth, enthusiasm and approachability appeals to parents and children alike. Whether she is liaising with clients, scheduling appointments or processing new intakes she will make the process run smoothly.

Ms. Monica Savitzky
Monica’s warm and genuine personality will make you feel immediately welcome at the clinic. She has extensive customer service and management experience. Having worked in the banking industry covering customers ranging from individuals to large corporate clients, she is an extremely important part of our team. Monica completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City.
